Effect of twelve-month physical exercise program on patients with osteoporotic vertebral fractures: a randomized, controlled trial.

This study looked at 78 postmenopausal women with vertebral fracture and chronic back pain. Those women that participated in a twice weekly 40 minute exercise program had a significantly improved quality of life in terms of pain and overall sense of general health.  (Osteoporos Int. 2016 Mar 16.)
